Apple vs Android

Well, everyone, I haven't really done ios versus android comparison in a very long time. I usually do something like android 12 versus ios 15, but for all the features and everything else between these two, I'm going, to be honest. If you're planning on buying an android or an ios device, things are starting to change a lot. I think the last year and this year for android phones, in general, they've been taking massive leaps while iPhones have kind Some of the most important features of iOS, like security updates, have kind of plateaued. The most important feature was updated which lasted a long time. If you buy an iPhone 13, you know that it won't be outdated tomorrow, next year, or the year after that. An iPhone could potentially last five or six years or more, and that's not even including security updates, which are so amazing. Now, however, that was probably one of the biggest criticisms of Android phones in general. The Pixel 6 is an amazing phone. There's never been a crazier time than now for Android phones. Google and Samsung both have actually been adding some crazy capabilities when it comes down to longevity. We just got Android 12 and Android 13 came out in the developer beta. Google is pretty much promising four years of updates for their android software and five years of security updates, so that's an extra year of security updates on top. Samsung just went ahead and did the same thing. They're doing four years of OS updates and then five years of security updates. When it comes to the raw software, ios and android have been amazing for a long time, but google has pretty much been fixing and Samsung 2 have been fixing one of the biggest issues which was the updates. Before we get into the features or anything like that, that has been one of the biggest improvements android in general has been doing. Another thing is actually within messages now it looks like Google is starting to improve a lot when it comes down to the actual messaging software they've been doing a lot of improvements which is really cool, but another thing to keep in mind is that Google has been adding liked messages when you react to certain things in Android. Additionally, now that Samsung is releasing the Galaxy S22, the stock messaging app looks like the Google messages app instead of the Samsung one. Although it may have skin over it, the Google messages app is still at its core, and that is another big advantage. If Google can go ahead and have everyone use the same messaging app, for the most part, that is a huge feature and it can be almost like When it comes down to this particular update, I'm pretty sure that, but the thing about iPhones is that if you actually go ahead and update, for example, the iPhone 13 and there's an update for it, the iPhone 6s from like six years ago can also get an update as well as the iPhone 7 from like seven years ago can also get an update whichever iPhones are supported for that version of software 99 per cent of the time those all those phones for almost every major release and update, they all get the update at the same time, which is amazing. I do think Apple cares more about older phones from them than Android, but now Android is picking up, as I mentioned earlier, which is a big thing now when it comes down to the features and everything between them, I think most of you know by now they all have their pros and cons. They have pretty much the same applications you can install it really just depends on if you're already in the apple ecosystem or not But I also know people who have iPhones but own windows devices or cool pixel buds or Samsung headphones or so many headphones. They're not really engrossed in the apple ecosystem, so I don't know if that's a big deal anymore. I also think that apple has been slowing down on the features they've been adding. One of the biggest things they've done is universal control, which is a really cool thing but it's not really on these phones or phones I would love to see Apple start to add a lot of these improvements from Google. Another big thing from Google is the ability to install our own applications. We don't have to go through the play store to actually install the applications that we want on the app store. We don't have any choice. Having the ability to you know to install our own app files is amazing. However, I don't really find my Google phones to be super you know virus full or malware full like how Apple's kind of describing it In addition, they're significantly more stable than a lot of Android phones, even though Android phones offer a lot more features and stability. For example, I had an issue with my Pixel 6 where Temple Run 2 would crash; I don't know if that's going to happen here either; it's just been kind of unstable here and there; again, it's not crazy; I'm sure it will be, but I feel like I have a more stable device on something like an iPhone and on I think that if there were an award for the best-improved software, it would go to Android—they're really improving—but I still think that ios are here to stay. I think that if ios 16 is a really really tremendous version of the software, well there will be a lot of improvements there and I'm going to be really happy about it. I would still prefer something you know like more features from android onto ios but either way, I'm a big fan of

To be honest, I would love to see Apple start to copy Android a little more, and I don't think that's a bad thing. In terms of that, that's a breakdown of how iOS and Android compare in 2022.
